Program eligibility criteria

• Have a completed application
• Be in 9^th grade going into the 10^th grade upon completion of the application process
• Be Alaska Native
• Be an Alaska resident

Application process and deadlines

• Complete the online or paper application by February 1^st.
• Apply to Tumyaraa
• A teacher recommendation is required. Let your teacher know that you’re planning to apply to the Tumyaraa Bridge program and that you’d appreciate their support.

Information on financial aid and scholarships

Funded by a federal Native Education grant, Tumyaraa is completely free, including travel.
