The 3rd annual Rav’N Jam got the Spring Session started with a climbing and dance party in the Atwood basement. Students let loose on the dance floor lit with black lights, smoke machines and lasers while DJ Maxwell dropped techno beats. Aerial acrobat silks artist Cage Free preformed and offered pointers to student who wanted to try hanging on the colorful fabric cascading from the ceiling. Climbers followed backlight reflective tape that marked the climbing wall holds and a slack line was set up for party goers to practice this quintessential climbing pastime for developing balance. The Rav’N Jam was free for students and this year had door prizes that ranged from tutus and hats to a pair of new fatty powder skis from Elan.
