Thank you for supporting the 2024 Blue & Gold Benefit Auction

Thank you for attending APU’s annual Blue & Gold Benefit Auction on May 2. This year’s event had more than 125 people in attendance to support growing the APU Foundation – which was created to sustain and grow a flourishing private university in line with founder Peter Gordon Gould’s (Unangax) vision of providing Education in Alaska accessible to all Alaskans.

Guests assembled in their blue and gold to enjoy an evening of mingling, jazz music, and participation in silent and live auctions, the paddle raise, dessert dash, heads or tails, and raffle while gaining an understanding of how APU provides a personalized and experiential learning opportunity. Proceeds benefit the APU Foundation and endowed funds such as:

• Gould Opportunity Fund, providing merit-based scholarships to honor Peter Gordon Gould’s intent for all students to have access to a first-rate education regardless of income;
• Leah J. Peterson Legacy Fund, providing merit-based scholarships for high-performing students; and
• Shel ch’naq’ahnilu Indigenous Student Scholarship Fund, supporting indigenous student scholarships.
