Raekwon Morgan arrived on the campus of Alaska Pacific University from Inglewood, California this past August to join his first year classmates and new transfer students for Expedition Alaska, 2014. Like Ray, floating the Yukon River for ten days with was a new experience for these students, who came to APU from all over the United States and even abroad. Unlike Ray, the other students had been on open water before. They knew how to swim. They had been camping.
