Master’s Degree in Business Administration
Why did you choose APU?
Launching off from completing the Alaska Native Executive Leadership Program and earning 9 elective credits towards an MBA at APU, attending APU was a natural, and perfect fit.
What was your favorite aspect of studying at APU?
My favorite aspect of APU is the people; advisors, instructors, and fellow students. They made the learning diverse, applicable, and challenging yet fun!
Reflecting on your time at APU, what stands out as the most memorable or impactful part of your campus life or learning experience?
My analogy for APU is like going to school in a rural community; everyone knows each other, you are close with your advisor, instructors, and fellow students, and all are working together towards the same goal of gaining knowledge and doing good work for the community for generations to come.
What are your post-graduation plans?
My plans for post-graduation are to be impactful and effective in achieving rural Alaska’s objectives and goals, to give back to those who supported and/or inspired me, and to be a positive example for my son…our next generation.
Is there anything else you would like to add?
Quyana for an amazing three-years at APU! I couldn’t have asked for a better learning experience, and instructors who supported me and understood rural Alaska. Community is important, and having that community exist at APU not only made for amazing learning and networking, but built lifelong friendships that will continue outside of the classroom and into our careers to further the impact we make for our people.
