Step Five: OSP reviews and submits proposal
All proposals must receive approval from the APU President’s Council.
The proposal planning form is due to the OSP director six weeks before the funding opportunity deadline. If circumstances prevent that, please reach out to OSP about your timeline for approval.
OSP provides a review of the complete project budget and programmatic / scientific proposal materials for compliance, including any materials required from proposed sub-grantees or contractors. The full proposal is due to OSP seven business days before the funding opportunity deadline.
OSP will provide any feedback to the Principal Investigator (PI) or Project Director within three business days after it is received. Final revised proposal materials ready for submission are due back to OSP two business days before the deadline.
OSP also provides support with developing and editing proposals prior to the review deadline if needed. Please contact OSP to discuss the timeline for these services. PIs and Project Directors are also encouraged to seek feedback from colleagues and community partners at every stage of the research and proposal journey – the earlier the better!
