APU’s Associate of Arts degree in Business Administration is an excellent and affordable choice for students with less than 60 academic transfer credits who intend to pursue a bachelor’s degree in business. The AA degree gives you the necessary foundational understanding of principles and practices you need to succeed in entry-level positions in in business and other industries as well as the credits you need to advance directly into APU’s bachelor’s degree program in Business Administration and Management.

Critical Thinking for Management
offers interdisciplinary and intercultural inquiry into the issues of human consciousness and experience focusing on the integration of the issues into a holistic view of the world. Ways to bring knowledge to bear on critically analyzing social, economic, and business problems and issues.
Personal Finance
will provide an overview of basic personal financial planning including budgeting, managing credit, savings and investment, insurance, and retirement planning. Students will develop a personal financial plan with short- and long-term goals.
Organizational Behavior
examines motivation, work design, perception, creativity, and innovation as part of the larger organizational behavior concept. Organizational culture is examined in the context of organizational change and behavior. Effective models are critically reviewed.
