Erik Flora, Director of the APU Nordic Ski Center, has pursued a life of racing and coaching. His passion for skiing is evident in his success as a coach and a competitor. As a competitor, Erik raced on an international/national level representing the United States at the World Junior Championships, NCAA All-American, FIS Continental Cup/Super Tour and US National Championships, plus a three time winner of the Tour of Anchorage. As a coach, Erik was named USSA Domestic Development Coach for the 2007-2008 season and USSA International Coach for the 2008-2009 season. Erik coached APU/US Ski Team athlete Kikkan Randall to the first female World Cup Gold Medal and the first World Championship Silver Medal to make US Skiing History.
