Charles Renfro

Charlie Renfro grew up in Anchorage and begun his ski career as a downhill racer at Alyeska resort in Girdwood, Alaska. In high school, Charlie discovered Nordic skiing and quickly became one of the top junior racers in the country. During his racing career Charlie raced successfully throughout the country and abroad as part of the APU team. Today Charlie coaches the “Devo” or development team for skiers ages 11-14. Charlie’s passion for skiing is apparent in the way he coaches and his ability to make everything FUN! When he’s not coaching Devo skiers he can be found in the mountains putting in long backcountry ski days or competing in World Freestyle Skiing Championships. Charlie also works at Skinny Raven, the local running store.
