Tan’gaucuaq Barbara Amos is Cup’ig and born and raised on Nunivak Island. She has a Bachelor of Elementary Education and a Master’s Degree in Education. She taught in Lower Kuskokwim School District for 20 years, 11 of which she taught Yugtun. Teaching in her Indigenous Language has become her passion and loves working with students who want to attend college or do training. She encourages all students to do something after high school to give back to our Indigenous People of Alaska. Quyana.
