An exchange can enable students to study in a different ecosystem, learn about life in another location and culture, and to take enriching classes that complement their studies at their home university. APU students don’t need to learn another language or fly to another country to have an exchange experience, though. With an Eco League exchange, students can experience new horizons and learn in a different environment, while still paying the same tuition and experiencing a school with similar values to their own.
The Eco League is a consortium of six liberal arts colleges, each situated in a unique area of the US, from Maine to Alaska. All of the colleges share an emphasis on a personalized approach to an ecologically focused education. Each college offers unique courses that relate to its own culture and degree programs, which students can choose to study while on an exchange!
We encourage any students who are interested in an Eco League exchange to speak with their advisor regarding it! The application for exchanges next fall semester is March 1st, 2016, so there is still plenty of time to plan how you can fit an exchange into your degree program here at APU!
