The following degree programs prepare students for professional licensure or certification. All programs meet the academic requirements for licensure in the State of Alaska. Alaska Pacific University will make all reasonable efforts to inform applicants from other states whether the program meets their state’s requirement for licensure. If APU is unable to determine whether a program will meet state professional licensure requirements, we will provide the student or applicant with current contact information for any applicable licensing boards, and advise the student or applicant to determine whether the program meets requirements for licensure in the State where the student is located.
APU does not license or certify students directly. In some cases, there are other requirements in addition to the academic degree. Students and applicants are responsible for informing themselves about the complete state requirements in their state and field of study.
