Congratulations and Welcome to APU! We strongly encourage all new students to attend Orientation from Thursday, August 19 to Sunday, August 22. Whether you are living on-campus or are a new student living in or near Anchorage, we would love to have you join us for the in-person Orientation. We look forward to seeing everyone and welcoming you into the APU community.

This is the official opening ceremony of APU’s Fall Orientation. Convocation allows the APU community to gather and welcome all new students. Everyone will hear from prominent speakers within the APU community.

New students will learn about the policies and procedures, along with some rules and regulations that they will adhere to during their APU experience.

During this session, students will learn how to order textbooks, log onto and navigate the APU Portal, and more!

The Associated Students of APU (ASAPU) is our student body government here on campus. Come hang out and learn about all the opportunities to get more involved on campus including open leadership positions and how to start a club!
4:00 pm – 5:00 pm – Free time
Time to settle into your dorm room, walk to University Lake with friends, or go on a tour of the Consortium Library. *Tour group will leave Atwood Center at 4:00 pm.
5:30 pm – 7:00 pm – Dinner

7:00 pm – 9:00 pm – Orientation Festival
