Please join Alaska Pacific University, Alaska Native Heritage Center, Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium, Alaska Native Brotherhood and Sisterhood Camp #16, Anchorage Museum at Rasmuson Center, Native Village of Eklutna, Native Peoples Action, The RIVR, and UAA Native Student Services (partners as of 9/17) in a special celebration on Indigenous Peoples’ Day – Monday, October 14 – from 11:30 a.m.- 2 p.m.! The celebration will be held in Alaska Pacific University’s Moseley Sports Center at 4400 University Drive, Anchorage, AK 99508.
Now an official holiday, Indigenous Peoples’ Day honors and respects the indigenous peoples of this land – who have thrived and survived in our homelands for over 10,000 years!
Join us in celebrating this historic day in Alaska, and on every second Monday of October from here forward!

The event will feature traditional dancing as well as speeches from community members and cultural leaders. More information to come!
The program begins at 12:00 p.m. and ends at 2:00 p.m.
A buffet lunch will be served.
There is free parking in the Alaska Airlines Center from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. There will be a shuttle provided.
