Alaska Pacific University’s search for a new president is well underway. A search committee comprised of representatives from the Board of Trustees, Elders Council, faculty, staff, and students has set October 1, 2021, as the application deadline for full consideration, although the search will continue until the position is filled.
Alaska Pacific University (APU) Board of Trustees Chairperson Ethan Schutt sees great potential for the next leader: “APU is in a stable financial position and enrollment is the highest it’s been in years. The next president will advance the university’s commitment to student achievement and service to our community as an Alaska Native-serving and Tribally-controlled institution.”
More information about the position is available on the APU website: https://www.alaskapacific.edu/careers/president/
