Tumyaraa is Alaska Pacific University’s college readiness program for high school students in rural Alaska.
Tumyaraa students are strong in their culture and ready to build skills for college and opportunities after high school.
This free program brings students to campus for two week intensives each summer. Participate in culturally-connected math and writing courses with year-round support from dedicated APU staff. Visit Anchorage, get comfortable with what a college experience can look like, and gain skills for future academic and life success.
