2022 Winter Olympic Kick Off Celebration

Please join APU Nordic Ski Center and Nordic Ski Association of Anchorage on February 4th for a Winter Olympic Kick Off Celebration! The event will be held outdoors from 6 -11:30pm at Alaska Pacific University. Courtesy of the Alaska Book Mobile, an outdoor projection of the Opening Ceremony Highlights will be shown on APU Campus from 6-8pm along with Cross Country Races current and past! Later in the evening, we will be hosting our own watch party for a live viewing of the the Women’s 7.5+7.5 Skiathlon LIVE at 10:30pm! Throughout the evening, NSAA will be hosting small ski races & games for kids & have concessions for event attendees. Former Alaskan Olympians will be joining the celebration and ski for kids!

Schedule of events are as follows:
6-8pm
* Outdoor viewing of the Olympic Opening Ceremony Highlights
* Ski games & races for kids (will run throughout evening)
* Meet & Ski with Former Olympians
8-10:30pm
* Viewing of past World Cup & Olympic Races
10:30-11:30pm
* LIVE Olympic Watch Party for Women’s 7.5+7.5km Skiathlon!

Event Parking
Free parking is available in designated campus parking lots (event map coming soon!).
Street parking is prohibited.
