Overview
The mission of the Alaska Association of Environmental Professionals is “to product, enhance, and maintain the quality of the human and natural environment through promoting advancement in environmental disciplines and providing opportunities for continuing education and networking in the community of Alaska Environmental Professionals.”
Interested and qualified students should submit an application, and submit a 1-2 page essay explaining why you want to pursue a professional environmental career in Alaska and/or other specific desires, in terms of a career path in Alaska.

Awarding Criteria
The Alaska Association of Environmental Professionals Scholarship will provide support for students meeting the following criteria:
- Full-time Enrollment
- Maintains a GPA of 3.0 or greater
- Demonstrates financial need
- Intends on pursuing a professional environmental-related career in Alaska
