Alaska Pacific University is committed to providing equal access to all its programs and activities, and this includes ensuring that people with disabilities can utilize its website and access web content, in compliance with Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act, and as applicable, the Americans with Disabilities Act, prohibiting discrimination on the basis of disability.

Accessible web content is developed and maintained in accordance with the following guidelines and standards: (W3C)’s Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 Level AA and Web Accessibility Initiative Accessible Rich Internet Applications Suite (WAI-ARIA) 1.0 techniques for web content.

For questions and/or assistance regarding web accessibility or to notify APU regarding online information or functionality that is currently inaccessible, or if you would like to file a formal grievance/complaint with the APU regarding its web content accessibility, contact the Dean of Student’s Office: 907-564-8287. Any grievance/complaint should include the name and address of the person filing it and must state the problem or action alleged to be discriminatory. APU will keep information related to any grievance/complaint confidential to the greatest extent possible, and will not retaliate against any person who files a grievance/complaint.
