Gerald Moses is a member of the Native Village of Stevens. He was raised in Fairbanks where he obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Alaska Fairbanks. He earned his Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Arizona College of Law and Masters of Public Health in Health Policy from Harvard University School of Public Health.
Moses has extensive experience in American Indian and Alaska Native health policy. From 2002-2008, he held positions as a policy, program and management analyst at Indian Health Services’ national headquarters and served as Senior Counsel to the United States Senate Committee on Indian Affairs.
As ANTHC’s Senior Director of Intergovernmental Affairs, Moses oversees the interactions of the Consortium with federal and state governments and agencies in addressing all issues impacting the health of Alaska Native people.
