Friday night the Spring Creek Farm Kellogg Campus was transformed into the Stratford Castle for a night of Murder Mystery! There were the familiar faces of students as well as the new faces of their friends and family. The event was interactive and fun! Murder weapons were imagined and guessed to provide a winner to the night’s version of scattergories; all while uncovering clues about the killer of the night.
Questions like, “Where were you at the time of the murder?” “What’s your blood type?” “Who do you think the murderer is?” echoed through the halls of the Stratford Castle for the four-round Murder Mystery. Round one consisted of appetizers and ice-breakers for the characters to get to know one another. Round two was the dinner hour- delicious beef-tip wrapped in bacon and stuffed shells with cheese. Rounds three and four were coated with sticky-sweet baklava and chocolate covered strawberries.
I’d like to offer a special thanks to our hostess, Sarah Engstrom! She delivered a memorable evening brimming with laughter and light-hearted conversation. An appreciable coordinator and hostess, she did not break character once. Without her, I doubt the night would have transpired the way it did.
