Overview
Ramona F. Sines was an alumna from Alaska Methodist University, graduating in 1964. Throughout her life, she maintained a strong belief that her education at the university provided the foundation for her success as a geophysicist, wife, and mother. AMU provided her with an academic foundation and approach to learning that enabled her to live a complete and fulfilling life. Her bequest was to endow a scholarship that gives others the same opportunities that the university provided to her.
Awarding Criteria
- Female undergraduate students enrolled full-time and under the age of 26
- Minimum high school GPA of 3.5
- Must maintain a GPA of 2.75 at APU to renew
- Writing ability to be considered
