Open Houses
Alaska Pacific University is closely monitoring the spread of COVID-19 and following the lead of public health officials to keep our community safe and healthy. The Office of Admissions will conduct tours by appointment only. We hope to offer both in-person and virtual event options starting in Spring 2022, but this may change. Please check back frequently for updates. Nothing compares to being on campus and meeting with you in person, but as we strive to keep our students and the APU community safe, we will have to meet virtually for now. Please join us at one of our scheduled open houses. During these virtual open houses we’ll share all that APU has to offer.

Interested in Nursing? Join us for a session to learn about our pathway to becoming a Nurse! APU offers the B.S. in Health Sciences-Pre Nursing, Associate Degree in Nursing (A.D.N.), and the RN to BSN Bridge Program. We will review pre-requisite courses required for the program, the application process and even sample documents. This is a great time to get all of your questions answered BEFORE our application deadlines!

Graduate Open HouseS
It’s a great time to start a graduate degree at APU! Join us to learn more about our campus, curriculum, student body, and opportunities outside of the classroom. Graduate Open Houses will cover information regarding financial aid, scholarships, and the admissions process, and you’ll hear directly from faculty about the opportunities available in our graduate programs. EARLY HONORS OPEN HOUSES
Even though we might not be able to be in our schools right now we are still looking forward to next year and gearing up for our 21-22 APU Early Honors class! For over 20 years, the Early Honors Program at Alaska Pacific University has delivered an experiential, place-based educational program to high school students across Alaska. This program is tailored towards incoming seniors and juniors in high school.
Please join us during our Early Honors Open Houses via Zoom for more information on the program, financial aid & scholarships available, and to meet with program staff and faculty.

- Earn up to 36 college credits a year
- Learn how to navigate university life
- Build confidence to embark on the next stage of your educational journey
- Graduate with transferable credits accepted by colleges and universities in Alaska and beyond
