![]() Discover AnchorageWeather & DaylightAnchorage weather is quite mild by many Lower 48 city standards. Snowfall averages 70 inches annually, and temperatures range from 15 degrees Fahrenheit in January to 58 degrees in July. Summer days are glorious, with temperatures resting comfortably in the 60's and 70's. Hours of daylight range from five and one-half in December to nineteen and one-half in June, although functional hours of daylight range from seven and one-half to twenty-four (with the additional time provided by conditions more accurately described as twilight). Anchorage residents stay very active in the winter months, taking advantage of the city's many lighted cross-country ski trails and ice skating rinks. |
