Degree Completion Program

Human Services

A large majority of employees in the field of human services do not hold Bachelor's Degrees. Many of them are discovering that, in order to pursue more rewarding work, they need to further their educations in human services. At the same time, many entry-level human services positions are now demanding higher educational achievements.

The Human Services curriculum provides theoretical and applied concepts that can be put into practice in the student's work and personal environments. The program is also designed to develop in students a professionalism that allows them to become leaders in the human service community. Applied research is an integral part of the Human Services program at Alaska Pacific. All Human Services students complete an extensive, social research project in the field.
