 Conference and Catering ServicesSummer housing & Conference FacilitiesThe residence halls are located in a beautiful setting just 10 minutes from downtown Anchorage. Woodlands with spectacular views of the Chugach Mountains surround the buildings and it is not uncommon to find moose walking across campus. Our summer conference season runs from May 14 - August 4. In the past two years we have had more requests for rooms than availability, so we encourage you to make your plans as soon as possible. Requests are not guaranteed until the deposit is received. The deposit is 1/3 of your total bill and a detailed itemization will be included on your invoice proposal once we receive your request. Atwood North and South: These two Residence Halls are located in a central campus location convenient to all the classrooms and dining services. Atwood South can accommodate groups up to 70 people.  Atwood North is similar to South only that it has smaller suites with fewer bedrooms. Most of the suites are single bedroom units with a few two-bedroom units available. North can accommodate up to 44 guests, but on a space available basis depending on APU student staying for the summer sessions. Please call for availability. Deposits, Reservations and Rate Changes

Each of the three floors of South have suite-style apartments holding up to 7 guests per suite. The average number of occupants per quad is 4 people with the maximum number being seven. These numbers vary depending on the specific needs of each group on campus at any given time. Each suite has 3 bedrooms: 1 small room (single or double), 1 medium room (double), 1 large room (triple). These rooms can be locked with separate keys. In addition, each suite has a common lounge and bathroom. There are no kitchen facilities in South, however dining services are available in the Atwood Center.
