Pell Grant eligible students can now attend Alaska Pacific University for reduced or no tuition.
The APU Promise Tuition Grant (PTG) is a need-based aid program designed to assist undergraduate students who are Pell Grant eligible and are enrolled full-time to reduce or eliminate the cost of tuition. Qualifying students can attend tuition-FREE.
Eligible recipients of the PTG will receive a grant to help cover additional tuition expenses not otherwise satisfied by institutional scholarships and discounts, APU donor-funded scholarships, Federal Student Aid grants, and state scholarships and grants. Private/external scholarships or grants you receive may be applied toward remaining costs without negatively impacting the need-based grant.

Students who are eligible to receive the maximum Pell Grant will see no direct tuition expenses when enrolled 12-18 credits per semester. Other Pell Grant eligible students will see tuition greatly reduced.
